Antithetical.

Filed under: Random — yminisa @ 7:48 am

Nothing seems to go my way during examinations.

Whatever I decide to focus on never comes out. Whatever I ‘feel’ would be tested never gets tested.

I have decided, to always do the opposite of what I feel. But it also seems that usually what I read at the last minute is relevant. HAIZ.

Last paper tmr – Research Methods in Social Sciences

After which, I shall be really happy. But there would be a whole slew of activities to keep me busy – like SMUSAIC events and also Livre Laos planning.

I am such a klutz! I actually freaking dropped my phone in the school toilet bowl.

HAIZ. never before has this happened to me (nor anything similar – apart from my drowned camera) But looks like I aint got any affinity with water eh?

So it’s time to get a new phone. And i’m uncontactable for the time being!

Happy Birthday Mik

Filed under: Life, Random — yminisa @ 8:17 am

Last week on 31st October we celebrated Mikaela’s birthday! (Her birthday is on 1st Nov). During our RMSS meeting, we said that it was time we took a break and so we led her downstairs while the others sneaked in to surprise her.

Here are some shots we took! Cant believe Mik and I were in the same JC orientation group. That seemed so long ago..

OH MY.

Filed under: Random — yminisa @ 9:11 am

As a follow up to my previous post.

OH MY GOODNESS.

I promise you, right after posting the previous post – titled Amazing Grace, I started singing Amazing Grace and the LIGHT CAME ON.

Amazing Grace

Filed under: Random — yminisa @ 9:06 am

An interesting thing happened to me today when I was doing duty at the SIPF exhibition at SESS Gallery. It was only after 3 hours into my shift did I realise that there was a spotlight shining directly on my computer screen. This spotlight, created a colourful cross on my screen. I dont really know how to explain it, but cos of the computer screen, the light, and the fact that light has got 7 colours…. something like that. I tried taking a picture of it but it did not turn out well.

So I just decided to enjoy the cross. And I think that it’s God’s way of reminding me that He’s still around, reaching out for me. (Even though I must admit I have been very distant)

And I decided to sing a worship song, ‘Jesus, Lamb of God, Worthy Is Your Name’. And just as I finished singing the chorus, the light went off. WOW.

I’m not sure if it was stipulated to off at a certain time or it blew or what, I’m just amazed at how it seems so spritual.

Nonetheless, thank God for the ’sighting’!

Ice Cold..

Filed under: Random — yminisa @ 4:30 pm

So, here are some pictures. Honestly, alot of it are really unglam. Especially Caroline’s and Derek’s cos they happened to be sitting opposite me (and bryan – he took some pics too). So if ever you (aka the subjects in the photo) find it unacceptable to see the unglam-ness, let me know and I’ll CONSIDER taking the photo down. HAHA. Have fun!

It’s an art.

Filed under: Life, Random — yminisa @ 2:26 pm

As u can see, the first three pictures are the same. They ARE the same… The thing is, when u look through different coloured glass, they appear differently. This piece of art is on Raffles City building. It is really amazing how differently the picture appears when u look through different coloured glass. Drop by to have a look! It’s at the junction leading to the SMRT Headquarters.

Below are also more photos that I took for the Viewfinder event happening now. We are to take photos on the theme ‘A day in the life of an SMU student’.

AND, my maid says she wants to go back to Indonesia to marry. To marry another girl. Like… HUH ????

Chao SMUgger

Filed under: Life, Random — yminisa @ 1:21 pm

Haha. Recently I’ve been a chao mugger!

Ok la, I cannot say that everytime I study I am 100% efficient. But at least I study! It’s rather insane, how much people study and how they are willing to stay in school till so late to study.

Seems like once term starts, social life just DIES.

I found my favourite drink in SMU! And that’s Mocha Milo from Edmund’s. It’s rather similar to Starbucks’ Iced Signature Chocolate but at one quarter of the price!! YUM YUM!

Everyday I face a problem : What should I wear tmr??
