Many times we wonder whether what we know abt something is the truth, whether what we feel abt something is the truth. How do we ever know if it’s the truth?
Time will tell…

I feel that it is really unfair that Hady Mirza is not getting the due recognition he deserves. It is a vast difference from the treatment that the sporting talents here get. It’s as if, once again, sports is more important that the arts. It is no use setting up an arts school if this kind of treatment is to be continued. But it cannot be denied that it is an important first step (but still a few years later than the sports school).
Having know what it feels like to be treated like a second class CCA while the sporting CCAs get all the glory and privileges just makes me feel so upset at the way things work, both in the schools and in the country.
All in all, it’s not that equal. Some CCAs still get fewer places for direct admissions or none. And who can claim that they give all students equal opportunities at leadership when favouritism plays such an important part in decision making.
Enough of the complains.
Thank God for sending my dear Lord Jesus Christ on this special dear to save all of us from being separated from you for eternity.
Happy Birthday Jesus! (Please dont forget the true meaning of christmas, it’s not love peace and joy, much less Santa and presents, it’s Jesus’ birthday.)
Not trying to preach here. Just a friendly and long-needed reminder.

Although nothing much can be seen from this photo. Iespecially liked it precisely cos you cant see my face. Haha. Just joking. Thought it captured the moment very well. Credits: Wang En Jian

This was at the Play Land in the Zoo. Went there on 7th Dec 07..
I have always found coincidence some thing that’s so intriguing.
It is just amazing when you can walk down the street and meet someone.
There are just too many factors invloved in the meeting. Like, you got to be at the same place, at the same time, AND, you have to be able to SEE each other too. Any slight difference in paths or turns would have meant that you would not meet.
Of course, Christians would mostly say it is all in the plan of the Lord. Not that i beg to differ.
I don’t like it when people say they wanna ‘establish’ their careers before they get married. Saving for wedding is one thing, establishing career is another. I do not think that marriage is relevant to how well established your career is. Much less how successful u become.
Wouldnt relationship stability found in marriage be more beneficial then? ( This is leaving out broken marriages of cos. Those can really be a handful. But not as if a dating relationship is without problems.)
