Only Yesterday

It doesnt seem that long ago, but it has been that long ago.

Alot of things i have forgotten.

But once in a while, it’s good to reminisce.

I like to sing Close To You by Carpenters. Such a sweet song. I got a thing for Oldies i think. hahaha.

Children crying out to Daddy, Mummy

Parents stretching their necks looking out for their sons or daughters

Grandparents waiting to catch a glimpse of their first grandchild

Celebrities finding their way out of the paparazzi

The list goes on.

The most heartwarming scene is when a child sees his/her father or mother collecting their luggages and eventually approaching them. The joy in their eyes makes you wish they always remain they way they are.

Children, without past, only the present matter.

That’s me with short hair! The second time i cut was 11/11/07. That’s abour a month after i first cut. Haha. Love not having all those irritating strands around the back of my neck. But not too sure if i prefer it ovee my long hair. They’re kinda on par.

Been going to Island Creamery alot nowadays. Have tried Black Forest, Nutella, Teh Tarik, Tiger Sorbet, ReversO, Kahlua Latte…. More on the next visit!

This date holds a special meaning.

Treat my parents to lunch at IVINS, followed by introduction of Island Creamery to the two oldie. Haha.

Had an emotional afternoon. But everything turned out fine in the end.

Went to Marina and Esplanade area in the evening. I never fail to get amazed by the beauty and feel of the place. Love it. Wish i could built my house there. Haha.

Models sitting in small squeezy little glass cases along Citylink Mall and promoting Canon products was the last straw for me.

Before this was the advertising campaign of ST701, advocating that you could live in your house for a week without ever leaving and still get your daily needs met. To me that was just ridiculously anti-social. It’s promoting what a society should not have – individualism. I am surprised nobody said anything against the act. It’s the very set back of technology.

I think this kind of advertising method is way too extreme, although honestly, very eye-catching.

It’s ridiculous.
