Quite slowly, time has passed and i’ve been working for about a month half. Honestly, i’m thinking of changing company but back into the same type of company. But this being a rather limited industry, and the big well known firms being so popular like Mcdonalds, news of me joining another law firm would spread to my current firm quite soon. So it’s equivalent to backstabbing or betrayal.

Then again, at this point in time, i have gone from country road to the highway and taking on greater responsibilities in my company. Kinda bad to leave since completion for Nassim Park enbloc is coming.

But still, i really wanna try out new stuffs elsewhere like in a MNC (very hard though) or a bigger company at least. Moreover, i dont think my pay is really worth all the time i’m putting into this job and its unpredictability of favour (oops-shall not elaborate more).

I miss not having a job. Haha. That’s just a nicer way of saying slacking i know. I really just wanna watch movies, shop and enjoy being with my family.

Congratulations to Andrew and Imran!!!

Sorry to leslie bout not being able to put up the photos yet. I said YET!!

Opportunities.

FridaY was a good day of catching up with my precious friends. Sushi wasnt very good although it was good ichiban. But Ben and Jerry’s and the Band was really good. So, really glad i got a chance to meet up with my two lovelies.

The weekend was another thing altogether. The death of a distant relative. Kinda sad, To think i’ve visited him every year since i was born.

And… Thank YOU for the marvellous ending of the week and the start of a gruelling one month.

Unbearable.

Oh Thank God!

I ‘lost’ a document – the original – with the client’s signature on it.

If lost, it is not replaceable because the client has gone overseas and will not be back for a long long time and completion for the Enbloc Sale is not too far away.

Considering what happened last week, this was a totally disastrous thing to be happening AGAIN.

I am SO glad that it had merely been left out and not misplaced.

I must must thank God for what happened (or did not happen) today. Made me realise again how much great is our God.

2) I went to House of Condom. OOOOh… haha. No explanations necessary but i encourage all to go see it for yourself. Just dun be below 18 k.

SONY

Ok, so i spent $499 on my new camera even before i got my march’s paycheck. How  clever. Now i cant save or splurge on clothingS because i spent one ONE camera. BUT…… i dont regret cos my camera is so so nice. It’s black like my ipod and sleek like my…. my ipod too. Haha.

Today after work, i went to the Marketplace at Raffles City and saw that Soup Spoon was opened and doing not too bad. I’m actually happy for them, being able to still function like normal and have probably just a bit fewer guests. Ít’s my pity my mummy still doesnt want to eat there, not for a while i’m sure.

So, going to work has been quite a happy thing some days thanks to YOU. But getting off work is still the best of all. Like how the tmporary staff at my company always try to wait for each other when the clock strikes 6.30pm.

D-Day

Filed under: Life — yminisa @ 12:09 pm

D-Day passed by quite quickly and smoothly. Considering that i thought there would be a long talk regarding scholarships and applications and a long wait for the results, today was fast and good.

Mixtures of joy and sorrow of cos. But in VJC, sorrows tend to be caused by

1) Not enough ’A’s

2) Missing the 4 ‘A’s mark

3) Too many ‘B’s, ‘C’s,or ‘D’s

 In conclusion, sorrow = no 4 ‘A’s.

Well, as for me, i wont announcing my results on my blog but i would say i did ok… better than my worst expection but lesser than my dream grades (A,A,B,A2). Dreams shall remain as dreams.

It’s just comforting knowing that after all these, your family and YOU, are all still very proud of me and truly think i did well.

I would honestly have to say that i was disappointed with 2 of my grades. Namely history and gp. But literature was a genuine surprise. And of cos, i have Mr. Lim to thank for my econs.

Thank you to YOU and Sissy.
