Dance Farewell.

GOSH. That’s the word for the outing! Haha. It was a really marvellous one. I REALLY gotta thank the juniors for putting so much effort into planning the farewell. I REALLY REALLY enjoyed myself and appreciate it alot. I really felt loved by my juniors and it’s really different from the other farewells i’ve had in sec sch. Guess its the spontaneity that made the farewell extra special. Thanks especially for the little purple pouch and the yummy chocolate fondue (burnt my tongue though)

I had a most marvvvellous day yesterday. Went prom shopping with Denys Divyesh Andrew Imran Charis and Wilfred (Denys and Wilfred bought their clothes and Andrew saw something nice!) It was really cool chilling out with them all at Starbucks (and making Aussie jokes). We called Leslie too! Apparently he was having a nap… we wonder *winkz* and later pseudo dinner (for me at least) at Carl’s Junior!

The next best part was meeting Caroline and sneaking to Tampines JC’s prom to find Michelle!!! Haha. Olio dinner was great and shopping after taht was qutie fun too. Ritz is really cool. Cant wait to have prom there buti know for sure it’ll all be over-rated. Haha! Thank you Carol for the wonderful nite we spent together…

Prom’s coming!

With the collection of my dress today, it kicks off the start of frenzied shopping for shoes, acessories and bag!!! There’s also the problem of hair and make up! But…. i still have a week or so before the day itself so i shall just take it a little slower. Gonna find a camera too. The one i have now is like 5 meg so it takes really long to upload and  it’s really bulky and all. Haha. Since my dad still owes me my birthday present maybe i can use that as an excuse!

I am having a movie marathon so to say… I borrowed 5 discs from video ezy including part of a Korean drama… gonna stuff myself with movies till i am screaming BORED!

memories of 05A53

The official 05A53 post exam outing to Brewerkz ended yesterday when the curfew restricted me left earlier. (missed the chance to go to MoS!) Wat a waste. But nevertheless, it was a great outing.

So, this would probably be the last time 05A53’s gonne be gathered (with the regretful absence of only 3 of us – including Sherry) I am almost tearing as i type this.

May the legacy of 05A53 live on forever! (i’m so glad that there will only ever be ONE 05A53)

But…… this marks the start of slacking, putting on weight and sniggering at bald heads! Looking forward to outing with sissy joy tmr!

I’m FREE!

Òh please please be jealous of me!!!!!! hahaha. I’m free from the shackles of examination! The bondage of the stress and guilt is to be gone! BE gone be GONE!

Christmas is coming!

Went for fitting of my prom dress today at Far East Plaza. And wow… those christmas lightings really brightened up my mood. Led my parents and i to sing at the top of our voices ( in the car) without restraint. Really one of the best moments i spent with my parents.

 

That moment, i realised how quickly time passed. I remember i walking the streets of Orchard Road with my parents every Christmas. Now that i am 18, i still do that but it’s now my turn to hold their hands, my turn to introduce them to the new stuffs of Orchard Road, my turn to scold them for being so sua ku.

 

This year, Christmas is gonna be different. Cos this Christmas, i know that even when i sing ‘and a Happy New Year’, it’ll really be a happy one – one without the dread of going back to school.

Hanging on a thread

One more day to go before freedom.

 

May i have the determination to live in solemnitee till wednesday.

But there is swich mirthe that may not be written in the freedom.

Who says the pleying nat worth a bene.

But have pacience and resoun in your mind.

For the day will come when the air you breathe will be sweeter than wine.

Hollywood

Was holding the orientation file we got from VJC and was looking at wat was printed on it. Then it dawned on me.

Our orientation theme was Hollywood (vollywood) and our prom theme is also Hollywood. Wat a great ending to a great start. Although i must admit that i didnt find the prom theme very interesting becos hollywood is so so broad.

And, i realised pple are sticking to the norm of gowns, dresses, suits, tux, shirts, pants (actually so am i cos i’m not a limelight hogger) but i am really hoping to see some pple dress up in costumes esp since it’s Hollywood. Maybe someone will turn up in a superman (without the digitally shrunk thingy) or as jack sparrow or as willy wonka. That’d be quite fun.

    Well, we just got a maid from indonesia… and she does things quite slowly so my mum tried to ask her to hurry with her work…  because sick ’sakit’ and fast ‘cepat’ sounds rather similar to us who knows no malay…. So instead of asking her to ‘lebih cepat’ (faster) she asks her to ‘cepat sakit’… how interesting. Haha…
