Hell and Inflation

Andrew commented after Econs tuition (we were walking past burnt incense paper trying not to step on them considering it’s better to be careful than not) : 

I’m sure there’s very high inflation down there cos the money supply is so high.

Hmm. Well, not a very intellectual thing to say but i guess he’s right too. Have you ever wondered about the income inequality (or equality for that matter) since SO many pple burn ‘money’ for their loved ones. And wat abt clothings and watnots? Isn’t it terrible to see someone wearing the same thing as you are down there because ur living relatives bought it from the same shop? (Sidenote : Dun get disgusted but wat abt sanitary napkins? Nobody ever burns that. Or … Condoms anybody?)Haha. Please do not take offence but i think it’’s quite contradictory when you curse pple for cursing you ‘go to hell’ when on the other hand u’re burning incense paper etc to those below. Personal Opinion.

Last week of school just ended. Gonna miss VJC so much. Although ya, we’ll still be going back etc but it wont be the same. To commemorate this special occasion, i specially ate Ben and Jerry’s in school… Chocolate Fudge Brownie!

Well, i just wanna say that i dun hold grudges for long and wat’s over is over so i dun wish for any kinda weirdness between us cos i do miss the fun times we had together.

Friday (II) and Saturday

Today is the day for the senior term dinner. Haha. Had LOTSA fun dressing up and Enjian surprised me when he drove to pick me up! Haha… YUP. it was great fun at the dinner! Gossipping and eating the GOOD FOOD especially since it had a chocolate fountain which i proudly say i took a lot of. Ask me for more details if u really wanna know.

Saturday was great fun too! The treasure hunt which i painstakingly tried to ensure would go smoothly! Luckily none of the clues went missing nor did any security guards come question me! Thanks to you-know-who for the delicious dinner and post dinner chat. And of cos, not forgetting my frens (namely Leslie and Joy!) who helped me in little ways and of cos dear frens who shared my joy (namely Andrea and Jean!) Thanks a bunch!

Friday.

School ended off with a bad note. Some pple just dun consider how loud their voice is. Just because one thing works for you doesnt mean it’ll work for everybody. Just like how one person’s studying methods does not work for everyone. Moreover, some pple can listen and write at the same time. Thanks for reminding me to stop being such a nice person cos it doesnt pay. Being better than others does not give u a right to comment much less criticise.

Much Awaited.

The much awaited birthday is here!! In case i dun come online tmr… I am gonna wish Sherilyn Tan Hui Min an early Happy Birthday!!!! Sure miss having you around! Wish you’d come back real soon. Haha. I never fail to think of you whenever i alight (if i do) at the bus stop you always alight, and whenever i walk past bayshore or even see bayshore from afar, you’d come to my mind. Yup, someone’s 18 now, have fun on you birthday and be a happy cheery sherry always ok!

The much awaited weekends are also coming!! Those who knows wat’s happen, good for you! And yup… i went to buy a pair of white heels today to match my white dress just for the dinner, but also cos i needed a new pair. It feels like prom! So fun… Girls can never have too many pairs of shoes. Hear that boys?? Wish my weekend will be filled with fun anf more fun!

It is the last week f school next week, i am just terribly thankful for that because that means that i get to studyproperly without teachers giving us pile loads of homework.. yes.. for our own good but it just hinders us from our revision.

Then again, i must really Thank God for giving me this opportunity to study in this school. Hopes of studyin in this school were dashed after i evaluated my internal school examination results in Sec 2and 3 (much less talk abt sec4) But it was a really big surprise considering how i used to get 20++ points in school exams. I was sitting outside the school library and i suddenly realised how lucky i am to be sitting in VJC and wearing the uniform that i had always wanted to wear since i entered TKGS in sec1. And praise be to God for his Mercies. To those taking their O levels, DUN GIVE UP!!

Well, i wrote this post mainly to thank my beloved class (no pun intended) 05A53. I want to thank each and every one of them because without any one of them, A53 would not be the same. From the antics of Shawn and Bob, to the sick jokes that the guys make in the canteen, the singing of Denys and Imran, mugging (and looking of books in the library) of Leslie and him being called Lesluv, the disappearance of Amoz, match support for Melissa and Jean and Didi, the TSD productions, Sulaz’s TMR/LV, Trish’s badminton match, Andrew’s fat obsession, Andrea’s slang, and of cos not forgetting Amoz’s and Div’s WONDERWALL. And so much much more. I sincerely say thank you to all of u A53 pple for making my life in VJC so interesting.

You’re my Wonderwall.

Good Day

Hey. Quite tired from today… Wanted to watch fireworks but didnt in the end cos of the belief that there will be bad-tempered drivers and congestion after the fireworks so we went to Bakerzin instead. Hung around till quite late and bought some candies from candy empire. Haha… oh well… parade watching was fun…. Yea! Good signs looking ahead.

National Day

It was really an experience trying to get past those idiotic drivers who just wouldnt care to move an inch to let you into the main road! Watching fireworks at Tanjong Rhu was fun but also a letdown. I had really expected more fireworks. Although it was beautiful while it lasted, it wasn’t shiok enough. This national day is even more special since there are people i know that are in the march in segment. Enjian, of cos, together with Bran in the police guard of honour (not forgetting their frens like suf etc) Also, Caroline’s brother Clarence. Glad i got to spend watching fireworks with my parents too. Although it was certainly not very worth it considering the traffic and the worst- missing the march in. Haiz. BUT, there’s always the repeat telecast. Never appreciated the repeat telecast till today. Haha. And of cos, thank you Sissy Joy, for sms-ing me in those intense moments of the NDP parade!

Well, another interestin incident between my neice and me.. She was being a pain, wanting to wipe my face with a tissue that she has already used to wipe her leaking nose. So i just ran away and when she started throwing tantrums, i imitated her. (haha!) It was all because of this imitation that got me into trouble. She started to scold me !!

Shimin: Why you like that??! NO! You cannot do that! Why you so naughty!

(she walks off angrily)

(turns around suddenly…)

Shimin: You be good girl ah! Cannot follow me! (an imitation of wat we adults do)

(walks off again… and then turn around again!)

Shimin: (pointing at herself) Say sorry to Shimin! Say sorry to Shimin!!

Well i guess i cannot blame her. Since that’s wat adults do to her. Haiz. They learn too fast for their own good. But of cos, there are times she is really cute, singing “We are singapore” etc. Leslie can vouch that! Haha.

Sissy Day

Hey Sissy Joy… Thanks for spending the day with me. I had fun being with you and talking about the boys together. Thanks for helping me with my skirt and walking nearly the whole of town together, trying on dresses etc. hahah. You’ve been helping me with so much and i thank God for a great fren and sister like you !

But i gotta say.. walking from 1.45pm to 9pm in heels non-stop is killing my feet! Be glad you are wearing slippers!

I should study more. Where can i find my motivation?
